- The online banking is very easy and self-explanatory
- The Account Summary page lets you look at all of your Wells Fargo banking accounts at one time on one page.

What I didn't like about Wells Fargo.con
- I like the option of being able to instant message someone about an issue that you are having on the site. Wells Fargo doesn't have this option. You can either email or call the Wells Fargo customer service department.
- Overall, the site had few flaws. However, it had little information about Adverse Credit Loans.
Rating and Recommendation
Rating: 9/10
Recommendation: I would definitely recommend using the site. The online accounting is exceptional and I prefer it to Bank of America.

I HAVE OWNED MY HOME FOR APPROXIMATELY 4 OR 5 YEARS. IN JULY I MISPLACED MY JULY STATEMENT AND DID NOT MAKE MY PAYMENT ON TIME. I TOOK OFF OF WORK ON JULY 31 TO REMEDAY THE SITUATION SO THAT IT WOULD NOT GO ON MY CREDIT REPORT AUGUST 1. AFTER SEVERAL CALLS TO THE "CUSTOMER SERVICE" NUMBER ON MY AUGUST STATEMENT, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT WAS A COLLECTION NUMBER, I WAS VERY UPSET. I WAS WORKING WITH MY CREDIT UNION AND THEN CALLING BACK TO WELLS FARGO WITH THE ROUTING INFORMATION TO WITHDRAW MY JULY PAYMENT. WELLS FARGO TREATED ME LIKE DIRT!!!! I HAVE NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT ON THIS HOME OR ANY OTHER HOME I OWNED. I WAS ASKED "ARE YOU IN THE HOME" "DO YOU PLAN ON STAYING IN THE HOME"???? I WAS TREATED LIKE SOMEONE WHO WAS JUST NOT BEING RESPONSIBLE. WHEN I FINALLY GAVE THEM THE INFORMATION TO WITHDRAW MY PAYMENT ON JULY 31ST PAYING THE LATE FEE, THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME THAT BECAUSE IT WAS OVER THE PHONE IT WOULD BE AN ADDITIONAL $20!!!! THEY DID WAIVE ONE FEE.....BIG DEAL! IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THE WAY THEY HANDLE THEIR BUSINESS!!!!!! I HAVE HAD A MORTGAGE WITH WELLS FARGO IN THE PAST AND COULD NOT WAIT TO BE DONE WITH THEM. I REFINANCED MY HOME AND GUESS WHAT?! THEY BOUGHT MY MORTGAGE!!! TO TOP THIS WHOLE STORY OFF, ON MONDAY I GOT A COLLECTION CALL AT WORK FROM WELLS FARGO FROM SOMEONE WHO I COULDN'T EVEN UNDERSTAND HE SPOKE SO BADLY. I TOLD HIM NEVER TO CALL MY WORK AGAIN AND THAT MY PAYMENT WAS MADE AND HUNG UP! JUST A REMINDER, IF YOU ARE ONE DAY LATE, THE NUMBER YOU GET ON YOUR NEXT INVOICE IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE IT IS COLLECTIONS!!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS!!!!

AT OR ABOUT 6:30 PM EST A WELLS FARGO OPERATOR CALLED AND SAID THAT MY PAYMENT WAS DUE ON THE 22nd AND I HAD TO PAY BY CHECK AND NOT BY MONEY ORDER LIKE I HAD FOR THE PAST YEAR BECAUSE IT WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND THAT I PAY TONITE AND ASKED FOR MY ACOUNT NUMBER. WHEN I REFUSED TO GIVE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND I WAS GOING TO CONTINUE TO PAY BY MONEY ORDER,SHE SAID THAT IT TO WAS UNACCEPTABLE AND I WOULD HAVE TO SPEAK TO HER SUPERVISOR.WELL I SAID LET ME SPEAK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR, SHE INSTANTLY SAID HER SUPERVISOR HAD STEPPED OUT OF THE ROOM AND IF I DONT PAY BY CHECK THAT I WOULD COME HOME AND MY CAR WOULD BE GONE AND ASKED WHAT I THOUGHT OF THAT.WELL I SAID THAT I GUESS I WOULD NOT HAVE TO TALK TO YOU AGAIN. After over 25 years I cancelled my account. Had so much trouble getting into it. Information was incorrect (had direct deposit)
After trying to work with your people to fix the problem, just gave up and after all these years, closed my account. Being a senior, retired and depending on my funds to support myself, couldn't got thru this every time I need to go into my account. Too much hassle and too hard to try to get help or someone who understaood the problem with the site.
But thanks for all the good years going back to the 50's. Maybe if it gets cleaned up, may come back, right now...no

Why can't I find an Investors Relations site? As a holder of WF preferred, I have a question about stock of Wells Fargo. Asking it on the internet seems impossible. Why? An e-mailed answer will do just fine.
I believe Wells Fargo has poor customer service . They are on that phone as if you have no intention of paying for your loan and I am sorry wells fargo is not worth my credit being bad . But they call me and and call cause you are 2 days late and they don't stop until you make it ! I can't stand wells fargo and they wouldn't be my choice again . And the people they have working for them are just a bunch of flunkies .Fine train them to be a good customer service .Which will get your company a better reputation Like call after 2 weeks if they haven't made there car payment yet less face it this is adults give them a chance to be make it on there own .

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage has completely totally overcharge a customer, the bank is rude, ready to take our home after we have paid our payments,for some reason they have alot of staff and everytime there is conflict with the amounts somehow a balance of 13000 thousand, never sends an up to date statement and monies sent for house payment is not being applied to home,why?unknown I am even afraid to call bacause of the rudeness.HelpMs Castro
I was really surprised to read the comments other customers of this so called Bank, Wells Fargo, in the past two years this Bank has put customerservice to shame, resently built a home in texas, I let a broker search for a bank, well big mistake, Wells Fago has really stressed out my marriage,racked up a bill of $13,000 never sent an up to date statment, we have sent our home payments, monies are not being applied to home where has the money gone?all the customerservice staff,supervisor, need up to date skills on handling a customer,eventhough payments are sent they send them back! I was shocked, always want to foreclose, threats,rudeness, then the broker, puts me on the deed, but not on the note so when I call I have to get permission from my spuse of 23years to ok, me calling about the account, I even had a male staff memeber name Ron, tell me its not my home! I was upset I said yes it is its texas community property, its been hell, never will recomend a home finace by WellsFargo home mortgage, looking for another Bank hopefully to refinance and get this no good Bank out of the Picture,I have had it!also never trust a Broker.
What is going on this Bank has horrified many customers, not sending up to date statements on mortgage accounts,not applying payments to accounts always putting themselves first, not the customer this needs to be investigated,audited, and a complaint with the Banking systems, we have rights and if you are paying your mortgage, the payment needs to be applied to mortgage, not leaving the customer holding the bag! Wells Fargo has really stressed out alot of customers.

well i with wellsfargo like 10 years and always when i deposite big amount is not all the time but when i do always they said i overdraft i can understand why that happen to my only when i deposit big amount now i not trust wellsfargo just i cash my checks and just deposit small amount but im looking for a good bank

Wells Fargo is my last choice for future mortgages. I currently have two mortgages with them, one is a rental property. I’ve had the rental loan for 7 years now. I’ve never had to pay a late fee. The tenants have until the 5th to pay, so I send out the payment to WF on the 8th. I have until the 15th according to the loan docs. Since last year they call my home at all hours, weekdays and weekends to harrass me until they get the payment. They wake up my toddler and interrupt our family dinners. Whenever I talk to a rep, they are rude and condescending. I am outraged!

i worked for norwest financial , which is now wells fargo, and they were a great company to work for. i cannot believe they have changed as much as all the bad reviews indicate. if u are having problems with someone , go to the manager of supervisor and report that person.

Well you probibly don't read these comments, but here goes. On the first of march of 2009, I contacted Wells Fargo to start the process of a loan modification. Things went wrong from the start, in July I had to start the whole process over.They told me my informatoin was over 90 days old and had to be updated.I have jumped through hoops for 8 months now, I still don't know if I will have a home to live in tomarrow.Every time I call the phone number and go through all the steps to talk to someone, I get a different story. One lady told me I filled out the wrong paperwork, it was the forms that was sent to me from Wells Fargo! Nobody seems to know what I need to do to resolve the problems. When I spoke with a supervisor, he told me to call back in 3 days, ask for him. When I did , I was told there was no such person in the company. So I don't know what to believe,my modification agree was sent back,SIGNED AND RETURNED BY THE DEADLINE, Oct.5 2009. As of today, Nov.5 2009, I have not yet recieved my copy of the final contract. I spoke with 4 differant people today, and I still don't know any more than I did 8 months ago.I guess if the sherrif shows up with an eviction notice, I'll just move and hire an attorny. I WISH SOMEONE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE OR THE MODIFICATION DEPT. KNEW HOW TO HELP THE AVERAGE PERSON. They all act like I should be a mind reader, and should know EVERYTHING about home loans! I DON'T------- HELLO! ISN'T THAT WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPPOSED TO BE ALL ABOUT?????

Another bad story
I just applied for a very small unsecured loan. I went to the Wells Fargo site to get information. Then I called the 800 number to verify the information. The person I spoke with Jason - confirmed the information and asked me if I wanted to apply right then over the phone. I said sure why not - I was approved in just minutes, I had to fax them a tax form which took 3 times for them to get the right information on the correct form.
I go to my local branch to sign for the loan and find out it is $50 higher than the loan agreement. I ask the banker he didn't know why until i looked at the 13 page and found out the were charging me a $50 loan application fee.
Now the local branch's don't charge you anything - but in talking with "Jason" he informs me - oh yeah we always charge $50 for "over the phone" applications. He never mentioned one word about this fee - and then informs me - sorry there is nothing I can do - its just the way it is. When I tell him that I called 5 different branch offices and none of them charge a fee - he just repeated he was sorry.
I want to pursue this with a Wells Fargo officer but who can you contact ?

My wife and I applied for a loan to purchase a rent house back in May. Apparently the person we were working with didn't have a clue as how to do the paper work. He kept asking for more paperwork and more paper work. Then he would not answer his phone or call back. Finally we talked to another branch. Lady was nice and tried to help. Then we got a letter from San Antonio, TX wanting us to furnish information about a house we do not own. Guess they cannot tell the difference between John & Denese and John & Carrol. We finally told them where they could go and we will pay for the house ourself. The house appraised for $52,000. We were asking for $31,000.
nothing new with well fargo poor service, but they were in line to take monies from the government and now could care less about anything else, they feel they hold all the cards and if you don't like try and find someone else to work with, they will just report you as a bad debt on the credit reports then try and find a loan
My mother is trying to seek help with her mort. payment she is currently three months behind, the wells fargo customer service has treated her like dirt, she phone me this morning crying saying that the folks she keep giving her the run around. I was wondering if you guys had any phone numbers other than the ones listed on her statement that i could called to get help.

11-10-2010 (Matt Louder) Your manager at 7375 W 52nd Ave.Arvada, Co 80002 was polite. I came in to have a check endoresed by Wells Fargo. Matt Louder asked what I was there for. I told Him. He asked if I wanted to Open a savings acct. I said No. I just want this check endorsed from Travelers insurance co. He refused.He offered to open a savings acct but not endorse a ck I left angry. Its not like a bank like yours can't aford to endorse a check for $216.70. I brought my brother and same thing happened. He said "He's had problems with Matt Louder Your manager." I'm quit Upset! I'll have to go to one of your other banks that have good customer service
I did not like the treatment I received at a formerly Wacovia now Wells Fargo branch in Virginia. The treatment was policy based. If Wells Fargo thinks they can come to Virginia and treat customers like they do they got another thing coming.
As a shareholder and customer, I am happy you cancelled your debit card fee. I would change banks if you inplement any more fees. You need to improve your service first.
