What I like about www.turbotax.com
What I liked about the site www.TurboTax.com:
- The site has easy to use online tax tools for both federal and state
- There is a lot of helpful information for people that don't have accountants
- I like the different price points based on my tax needs
- The site is highly reliable and you don't have to worry about it going down or losing your tax information
What I didn't like about turbotax.intuit.com
Problems with www.turbo tax.com:
- They could make the service free since almost all online applications are
- Turbotaxes could have just one low price so you don't get confused and pick the wrong version
- If you buy quicken or quickbooks, don't you think turbotax should be free?

Rating: 9/10
Recommendation: I thing they are one of the top places online for taxes. It's the best tax software online or on CD for individual people or small businesses that are not experts and who are going to do their own taxes.

Your program figured that I did not owe any late fees. The IRS figured that I owed $241.38.
I cannot get a copy of the 2007 TurboTax 8453-OL. The IRS needs a copy.
When I access Turbo Tax it asks for a website email address and password.
I've changed email addresses several times this year. HELP!

I used the Turbotax Freedom version and it did not live up to their guarantee. It does not allow you to use the standerd deduction for your Federal Return and an itemized deduction for your State Return which, in my case made a big differnce. I got significantly more when I did this with another provider.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ON LINE TURBO TAX PREPARATION? WATH 13 DITIDEL CODE DO I NEED
I have used Turbo Tax for years now and this will be the last year I will use it. I bought the same edition that I bought in prior years. The price went up but I was so happy with it before I bought it again. I come to find out that this year even though it says Federal and State on it, I only get one state filing and I will have to purchase other state- costing around $40.00 each state return I do. I have a family that I do taxes for and it is going to cost me around $200 now. What a rip off I should of went with another Tax Program

Besides being more expensive, Turbo Tax is painfully slow this year and extremely annoying since every time I open it up, it wants to waste my time doing updates. It's difficult to understand why this repetition is necessary. The stated times for the updates always take much longer, and are definitely a source of annoyance also.
It is the end of March and I am still waiting for my deluxe Turbo tax program, which I paid for 3 months ago. I received an email confirming my order. I have always tried to file early, and I expected my package to arrive by now. With only two weeks remaining till filing time I would like an explanation, about WHEN I WILL RECEIVE MY PACKAGE.
I'M WONDERING WHY I HAVE TO GET ANOTHER E-MAIL
We sold our house last fall and paid $6500 toward the buyer's closing costs. Since this is such a common practice in today's times, why doesn't Turbotax have a line item specifically for entering a seller's "points" deduction paid for the buyer, during a home sale? Otherwise, it looks like the seller had two mortgages on which "points" were paid in the same year, if amoritizing points over the life of the mortgage loan on the house that you sold. (One for the seller and one for the buyer). Just a suggestion to be more "user friendly" and efficient.

I AM RETURNING MY TURBO TAX 2008: I DOUBT VERY MUCH IF I WILL RECEIVE MY REFUND OF $65.33, ATTEMPING TO RUN THIS YEARS PROGRAM IS VERGING ON RIDICULAS. AFTER READING A FEW FORUMS, I DO BELIEVE THERE IS NO REASON TO TRY TO RUN A PROGRAM THAT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER PRIME EXAMPLE OF OFF-SHORE PROGRAMERS.
It is impossible to correct an ordering error (mine) without cancelling my membership. I'll try again because i like the program
The IRS audited our 2008 Federal Returns. They discovered that the State Refund for 2007 was not included as part of income for 2008. The State Refund for 2007 was $2334. When the auditors refigured our 2008 Return they found we owed $727. The State Refund was on the worksheet but did not print out on Form 1040 line 10. The deadline for paying the tax is May 5, 2010. I have used Turbotax for over 5 years and had no problems. Please let us know your responsibility in this matter as soon as possible.

want turbotax for 2009
I started to do my tax return and when I got to the State
return I was told I cdould do only one for free. I have
been doing mine and my two sons and mother's returns for
years and didn't have to pay for the State's returns. How
can I do theirs and mine without paying. Or, tell me how
much I have to pay to do them all?
I have used tubro tax business for over 15 years and this year they have really screwed up with the 2011 business program. Tubro was to be simple to use and up upuntill this year they did, boy did they make a big F---
up this year, unable to print w-2's without going to some e-file deal, no way to contact Tubro Tax by email to tell them about the problem, this 2011 business program really sucks, Next year I will not be using any Tubro Tax products, I suggest that you look to others for a easyer and better product that Tubro has now. it sucks and until they go back to the basics, screw them

Informative hub. I received a free trial cd from turbotax and have considered trying it. I just wasn't sure I would be able to since I have to figure in back taxes from the previous year so that any refund will go towards these taxes. Do you know if this is an option with turbotax?
